Culinary Skills Challenge

Registration Materials are Now Available for the 2009 Culinary Skills Challenge to be held March 25 at Southwest Minnesota State University!

Area students in 9-12 grade will have the opportunity to participate in competitions including: Baking, Cake Decorating, Cooking, Garnishing, Menu Design, and Place Setting. Technical Skills Challenge 2009

The 7th Annual Technical Skills Challenge is set for April 24 at the Minnesota West Jackson Campus and April 30 at the Minnesota West Granite Falls Campus. Each year new and exciting events are created to challenge students and give a stage to showcase their creativity. This year's events include: Accounting, A Cellphone Showdown, Child Development, Customized Painting, Digital Photography, Graphic Design, Pick-A-Path Webstory, Public Service Announcement Video, Solar Sprint Car, and Wind Energy. FREE CTE COLLEGE CREDIT

Did you know that students can earn college credit while in high school for FREE. It doesn't cost the high school anything either.
