Minnesota Business Venture

Minnesota Business Venture (MBV) is a FUN, week-long residential program designed to introduce high school students to the business world through first-hand experiences. The students live on the college campus, meet numerous business leaders, and listen to knowledgeable speakers from various companies. MBV shows students how to apply marketing, entrepreneurship, investing, leadership skills and much more to life, school and future careers. MBV is an outstanding enhancement on college and job applications.

Offered this summer at St. Cloud State University (July 10-15) or St. John’s University (July 24-29), the fee to attend is only $125, which includes room and board ($175 after April 22nd). The fee to attend is kept low thanks to individuals, foundations and companies who are hoping Southwest Minnesota students attend MBV this summer. The 2011 Minnesota Business Venture application and brochure, and a short video are available at on BestPrep’s website, www.bestprep.org. Questions can be directed to Janae Olinger, MBV Associate at jolinger@bestprep.org or 763-398-0090 ext. 231.

If you can think of any students who would enjoy this summer program, please share the information with them. 99% of last year’s participants would recommend MBV to another student!
