A Youth Housing Careers Day Camp will be held May 24, 25 and 26 at Southwest Minnesota State University. The camp is designed to allow participants an opportunity to explore careers in the housing industry and to learn about money management. Participants will tour businesses, a college, a bank, and complete a service-learning project.
Participants must be entering at least 9th grade in the fall of 2011. Camp will run from 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. each day. Transportation, meals and snacks, supplies, and incentives are offered free of charge. Buses will transport students to the various sites. A detailed schedule with exact times and locations will be sent to students after acceptance into the program.
