Cynthia Avila and Antonio Madrigal, seniors at Worthington High School, placed 2nd and 4th, respectively in the MN DOT's annual Aviation Art Contest.
Cynthia and Antonio are shown at the awards ceremony with their impressions of the contest theme- "Silent Flight." The ceremony was held in the St. Paul Capitol Rotunda on March 2nd. The winners, along with their families, and 17 other students were there to help celebrate.The 4 winning students in each category will have their images in the 2013 Aviation Art Calendar. They also received free art supplies, a free 30 minute flight at the local airport, and a print of their original work.
