Technology Integration Workshop

TIW provides educators with the skills needed to liven classrooms, engage students, and make effective use of educational technology! TIW offers the resources¸ strategies, and education to help educators integrate new technologies into the classroom. At the workshop, participants will learn how existing and emerging technologies can enhance lesson effectiveness and student engagement. They will also increase their technological literacy through hands-on experience!

Participants will see the technology and career skills being used in business by participating in a half-day job shadow with businesses such as Travelers, 3M, Ecolab and UnitedHealth Group. The purpose of the job shadow is for teachers to see how curriculum is used in real world settings to better prepare students for the 21st Century workforce.

This workshop is hosted by the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business in downtown Minneapolis and runs from August 1^st-4^th.
