CTE: The Key to Economic Development

There’s no industry sector that’s not relevant to career and technical education. The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) has created Sector Sheets that look at CTE’s role in developing a skilled, adaptable workforce.   

Each Sector Sheet explores projections for the workforce in that industry sector and describes how CTE prepares high school, postsecondary and adult students for careers in that sector through CTE courses, career and technical student organizations, work-based learning and more. The set now includes 12 one-page sheets with topics that include Energy, Health Care, Agriculture, Food and Natural resources, Biosciences, Financial Services plus several more.
