Cardinal Manufacturing Tour

A small contingent from the Minnesota West Perkins Consortium took a trip to Eleva-Strum High School in Strum, WI over the summer to tour Cardinal Manufacturing.  Cardinal Manufacturing began in 2008 as a means to introduce high school students to manufacturing careers and has expanded into a student-run business that is completely self-sufficient by earning enough income from their sales to maintain and grow their business. What started as a run down, dirty, dated high school shop has evolved into a clean, manufacturing facility that has gained regional and national attention for showing students, parents, and counselors the opportunities available in the manufacturing field.  For more information, please view their website.
