About “Know Before You Go”

Through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), educating both youth and parents on regional labor market information and connecting students with local businesses is critical for our local economies to thrive.  Providing labor market information to students, parents, schools, and the larger community to create awareness of regional career opportunities in high-growth, in-demand occupations is necessary. Our local WorkForce Centers have developed and distributed labor market infographics that are easy to understand and are shared broadly.

The launch of the labor market campaign, “Know Before You Go,” provides infographics on wage ranges by education level, annual tuition increases, cost of a degree, and in-demand jobs in the region.

Each infographic and infographic profile creates an industry summary through pictures/graphs/charts/etc.  Parents, teachers, schools, industry, and more can use the infographics as they see fit.
