CTE Works! Summit Registration is Open



The CTE Works! Summit is an annual conference sponsored by Minnesota State and the Minnesota Department of Education. This influential event brings together 450+ high school and college educators with workforce and community partners who provide Minnesotans the academic and technical skills they need to succeed. This year’s Summit is Tuesday, November 5 – Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest, Brooklyn Park, MN.

·         Summit Full Conference = $140

·         Summit Tuesday Only = $110

·         Summit Wednesday Only = $70

DEADLINE: Registration using puchase orders and checks must be completed by September 27, 2019. Credit card payments accepted April 1-November 6 (based on avaiaiblity).

Brooks Harper’s books Why Should We Hire You? and 7 Skills to Make Mills are incorporated into Career and Technology Education curricula as the go-to books for teaching interview skills, personal branding and soft skills development. Presentation details to be announced.
  
WEDNESDAY KEYNOTE SESSION
Are Minnesotans Ready for Employment? Are Employers Ready for Minnesota? In order for our state to continue to be an economy where international Fortune 500 companies and local small businesses alike can thrive, our education, community, and workforce systems must work together to address skills gaps and other factors leading to worker shortages. Speakers and panelists to be announced.
