The Minnesota Timberwolves recently held their
seventh annual Business Club Day, inviting high school classes from across
Minnesota to learn firsthand what it takes to work in the sports
industry. In attendance this year were students from Montevideo,
RTR, and Windom.
The day is designed to show students that there is so much more than the product they see on the court- over 100 people work in the front office making everything come together for game night. Many of the Timberwolves' highest level executives talked to nearly 500 students about the possibilities and different positions that exist in a sports organization.
