Minnesota SLEDS

  • 21% of MN high school graduates that enrolled in college do not make it to the second year of college.
  • 69% of MN public high school graduates went to college in the fall
  • The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities is the number one destination for high school graduates going into their first year of college.
  • 28% of MN high school graduates enrolled in one or more developmental courses.
These are just a few of the facts you can find using Minnesota's new Statewide Longitudinal Education Data System (SLEDS).  Do you want to know the top 10 colleges where the students from your high school attend?  How many go to a 4-year university, 2-year college, the military or straight to work? What was the class of 2013's composite ACT score?  You can find out on SLEDS.  The site allows anyone to view reports about their own high school as well as compare it to statewide data.  Very interesting information!  Check it out at www.sleds.mn.gov
